dunno wut to do. already finished work 4 tomoro. (mai jgn jeles) hehe. so wut else to do?

up until now, nothing interesting really happened.

today we had usrah in opal court. so we hv 2 cook also. hehe. juz gonna make cucur. haha. i was skype-ing with my mom. asking bout d simplest ever recipes that exist. HAHA. suddenly, got a call from yaya, saying that she wanna come 2 my room n wait until d usrah starts. i said okay. but then i made a note to myself:

it's not like my room was horrifyingly messy, it's juz that i keep procastinating to tidy it up. note, tidy it NOT clean it. so my room wasnt dirty ok? huhu. n i also vacuumed my room!

and was glad 4 all d hard work. hoho. bcoz it turned out that EVERYONE is coming to my room to pray. haha. thank goodness ive tidied my room! hehe. became a bit 'gelabah' coz practically, i was d host? huhu..

started cooking~ mai brought along keropok! haih..it was really like im in malaysia. keropok for tea time! juz need tea n it'll be perfect. then we goreng d cucur. d cooking was quite a success! yeay! i juz keep eating d cucur. cucur r the BEST, especially if u dip it in chilli sauce! yummy~

usrah goes on well..

after usrah, all 1st yr girls of lester got a meeting. haha. it's a house-or-opal meeting. yep. all of us were contemplating whether to stay in opal(hall) or move into house. haha. it was quite funny, hearing all of us trying to justify our reasons whether to stay or not, although it was supposed to be sumting serious. hehe. ive talked to my mom bout it but surely, she said she cant decide for me coz she dunno how's d situation here. so...it's up to me. haih~

of coz both got pros n cons...n i juz dunno~

lester ppl nvr stop to amaze me.

yesterday we're having a study group at d main library. we found a spot, which is supposedly a silent study area. n we 'buat mcm umah sndr' n re-arrange d tables n chairs. huhu. n we talked. chatted. hehe. obviously against d rules~

we're waiting 4 sum more ppl to come n when they arrive, sumting popped into my hands..

wait a minute..my bday was about 1 month++ ago! haha. i realized that it was a BELATED card n started laughing. haha! see, lester ppl are amazing! even if ur bday was a month ago, (nearly 2 months btw) they still rmmbr it. haha~ but still, i was laughing but couldnt look at them. of coz la...terharu k? =)

weekends is crazy. i was outside more than sitting in my room. although im tired, it's 4 a good cause that i went out insyaAllah~

friday, as usual, went to town. actually we call ourselves JJJ- Jalan-Jalan Jumaat? huhu. yeah. life wouldn't be life if we're gonna juz stuck in our rooms rite? we gotta go out n explore n see d world...er..shopping malls. haha! i bought nothing, like always~

by d time i went back to my room, i was really tired. yea my legs r killing me n i couldnt stand d cold. i can stand it, but u know, not anymore. not long after that, i went out again, dis time 2 send mai to d bus station. she's goin to edinburgh. lucky her. hehe. amazingly, all of us went too. that includes sara, dina-mar-qilah's fren from warwick. initially we thought that we're gonna make it, but by d 5-mins b4 her scheduled bus shud arrive, we're all running on d road to d bus station. haha. can we make it??

it turned out that d bus was late. WAY late. almost an hour late. haha. wut a waste of all our running. so we juz sat on d bench outside, freezing. take some pics..usual stuff. then we realized we cud actually wait inside where there's heating n all. haha. so we went in. n talked like it's in malaysia. at last mai's bus arrived n we sent her out. when d bus moved, all of us waved excitedly to mai, as if she's goin for LONG. haha. it was cute, by d way~

got back, watched prison break. huhu~

SATURDAY- i had to get early!! today's d day 4 ISK-ini sejarah kita. it lasted until 7-ish. huhu. i survived! let me juz tell u, it was good. words juz cannot describe it..it knocked sense back into my head, after 2 months being here~

today is also bad's bday. see, we got 2 bdays in a week. hehe. we're great ppl so we cherish everybody. eventho every1 was exhausted, we keep going with our plans to celebrate his bday. luckily for him, he didnt hv 2 go out but instead we come n bring food to him! so unfair~ haha. we got rooster's -halal chicken with rice n cakes n we headed to nixon court, which is about 15-mins walk from opal. it was super chilly, like always n when we arrived, syazwan (another 1st yr medic guy) was already waiting for us downstairs. then we got into their flats. i felt like a secret agent coz all of us was getting into d kitchen as quiet as we cud. when we were ready, syazwan called for him n brought him to d kitchen and...

there he came! er..in his kain pelikat! HAHA

so we sang n he blowed out d candles. then he said,
"naseb baek aku x pakai shorts td"

yeah, thank goodness =D

im back in my room near 12. huhu. got really sleepy n tired but i was chatting with my mom. oh yea, she said that my dad's coming to uk! huhu. but i dont really know wuts d plan. ill juz wait~

SUNDAY- hv 2 get early also! hv 2 go to netball practice. hehe. oh well, for sum1 who havent played sports LONG enough, i guess im OKAY. heheh. but frankly speaking, netball's not my thing. hehe. we were walking back to opal when we met bad-mar-sara walking in d cemetry! so we, me-qilah-dina thought of joining them. talk bout sightseeing in d cemetry! haha. but we got some nice pics though. but im obviously underdressed- not wearing enough layers to keep me warm coz i dunno we're gonna hang around. but i survived..

went back n cleaned up n eat, n im out again. gonna join them to send sara to bus station. im a nice person, u see? although im d only KMB ppl (all of them r from KY) n i don really know sara i still go n came to see her. hehe. i dunno. it's juz that, i think that today's their day. it'll be possible that sum day, it'll be my day. so i juz went. by d time i got back, i was really tired. head started spinning too. after prayer, i got 2 hrs of sleep! which after i woke up, felt really terrible!

yesterday, i had a lot of fun. it's been long since i had this much fun 4 d 2 months time im here. i had pretty good laughs, until my stomach n cheeks hurt. haha. it was d day when all (well, almost all) 1st years be it medics, maths or chem of lester gathered. d occasion? mai's surprise bday party! haha~

we've been planning to go celebrate mai's bday at nando's. it's juz that we dunno when. so yesterday after almost 3-hours of IPE(inter professional education) where we meet all kinds of proffessionals like medics, nurses, midwife n so on...it was dark, n i was hungry. n i've got usrah later on. hazel 1 is already near to nando's so i suggested to qilah that why not we go tonite? we thought it was a good plan, since there's nothing to do coz TOB got no worksession. we contacted all 1st yrs n came to an agreement. we're going tonite! yeay!

d 2nd yrs seniors in my usrah cooked mee hailam for us. it was superb! haha. so we ate and ate n by d time d usrah actually started, it was already 8! n we told everyone to be at nando's at 8.30! im really unsettled. but then i try to concentrate. haha. by 8.30, we still havent finished n i got really worried. i made an excuse to go to d toilet n phoned dina to tell that we're gonna be late! hehe. then i juz sit back n hear wut i shud hear. but of coz my mind wasnt there. haha. i was thinking bout all d ppl who were waiting for us, feeling guilty. but then, unexpected things do happen at certain

times rite?

by d time we 'tutup majlis', i was WAY worried. haha. i kept throwing questioning look to qilah, but i nvr managed to catch her eyes. huhu. d 2nd yrs baked us a cake n i ate it like, super fast. then we started going out of d house. comes d 2nd mission of d day: convince mai to follow us to nando's.

qilah: "mai, teman kt g morrisons jap. dee mintk tlg belikan ice-cream."

i was like, oh no, is mai going to fall 4 d trick???

mai: "oh ok. so kt teman yaya blk nixon gk la kn?"

qilah: "haah."

we walked. n i walked as fast as i cud. then we took d path where it's closer to nando's. oh, juz 4 ur info, nando's is near to morrisons. that's y we managed to trick her. huhu. when we were close to nando's n not actually heading to morrisons,

yaya: "mai, teman kt jap. nk g jumpe burn."

i was like, tidaaaakkk!! is mai gonna be suspicious?? it's way too weird!

mai : "ok *blur*"

when we're juz nearly there, suddenly azhreen showed up! NOOOO!! i thought this must be it. our surprise will not be surprise anymore. mai started feeling weird, i guess.

mai: "azhreen, nape awk ade kat sini?"

azhreen: "oh kt g morrisons td. tp x byr lg. derg sume kat morrisons."

mai: "bukan smlm awk da g ke?"

azhreen: "oh ntah la..~"

we started to take action. we juz pulled mai towards nando's coz anymore words spoken, n our surprise would be revealed. mai asked why we hv to enter nando's n yaya said sumting bout meeting burn inside nando's. my heart was beating as hard as it could. we walked faster n azhreen lead us to d back of nando's where...

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!"

there was a cake on d table with d candles on it. everybody was sitting around d table, with happy faces. i was finally able to let off my breath n joined everyone singing d bday song for mai. hehehe. n d look on her face was priceless! hehe. muke terharu~

i was sitting at d other end of table where mai sat. huhu. we decided that this is gonna be our treat for mai. hehe. it was first a bit awkward as i sat near d boys, bad n zaidi. but then it juz felt ok. hehe. i joined laughing, eating, drinking, laughed again..beautiful moment i guess. although they were sum things that i dont understand bcoz they were talking bout stuffs back in KY but i juz joined them. hehe. feel so happy. felt like my trueself was back.

im glad that im here. truly =)

6. saye sgt susah TAPI senang to be attached to sumting
sgt susah utk suke sumting- which is a big problem when i go shopping. haih. tu yg x suke shopping! sgt susah, tp bile hati da terbukak tu, haiyoo...jd attached sgt2 la plak! langkawi telah mengajarku utk suke tomyam. suke kuey tiau tomyam. but can u imagine. everytime outing mmg x mkn bende laen da. mkn tu je. bygkn every outing, for 2 years? hehe. lagi satu. attached to people. haih. arashi! gile la. mase discover bout diorg, i was listening n watching their videoclips non-stop! gile btol. it took me a few weeks for that craze to cool down. hehe. also when i watched any dramas- esp Jdrama n anime, d soundtrack will be terngiang2 in my eyes..which is sgt BAHAYE! huhu =)

independent?

despite my REALLY bad sense of direction, i managed to go & come back safely from morrisons! alone.

yeah!

u might think what's so BIG about that, but if u know how bad i am, u'll understand. it was an emergency that i need to go to morrisons bcoz i need to buy sumting today. so i dont wanna burden my other frens bcoz actually we juz went to morrisons last friday. huhu. this is all bcoz of my lack of planning so i end up going ther by myself..

haha. but i did get lost. haha. yup2. it was so bad bcoz i was going the other way round. haha. im really bad at this. somehow i recalled that morrisons is at the opposite way when i reached d other end. *sigh* so i made a "muke tabah" n walk back to the opposite direction. alhamdulillah i didnt get lost after that. huhu

i get lost even in the MSB. once, i went d wrong way to my tutorial room, which i went into like, EVERYDAY. haha. i deserve a smack in d head, i know. oh well, i'll juz hv to learn slowly~

fana maen sports??!!

yep2. in fact i juz got back from playing netball. haha. but d best thing is, i dont even sweat! so there's juz 2 conclusion i can make: either d weather here is cold or i dont move too much. hmm...d 2nd reason seems to hold more truth than d first. huhu. rite. i was most of d time GK n then became GS. hehe. never out of d defence area. to tell u d truth, im really not suitable to play netball, or myb any sports:
-im lazy to run
-im lazy to jump
-im slow?

haha. so d only sports that i truly enjoy is table tennis. i think that's d most suitable sports 4 me. bcoz myb im a lembik person so i dont hv d stamina to run n catch some balls. besides, i think i've kinda hated netball back then..

well, during primary & secondary school, i've always wanted to play netball. bcoz that time i thought it was d coolest sports of all. but like i said, im not very good at it. undeniably, there were some ppl who are very good at it. there's only one court so everyone hv to share n take turns. however, these good ppl kept playing. i know sometimes it's 4 tournament training etc etc but that makes us, the not-so-good ppl, the feeling that we cannot play. yeah, real life is cruel, i know, but at least give us a chance to at least hold d ball? it's like natural selection when only d good ones are chosen n not-so-good ones are eliminated. huhu. so at some point back then, i decided that im done with netball. i went looking 4 other sports n then i found table tennis. it was a less discriminating sport 4 me. n i really like it. bcoz myb it was not as popular as netball, not many even consider to play it..

anyway, netball here is good. at least i get to exercise. it's been a while. n d ppl are so nice. d good ppl didnt juz drift away from us not-so-good ppl but instead they reach their hands n offer help for us to play happily together~
