[blackpool]

day 1

BAD start for a trip. we missed our train! haih. so we ended up paying 3x d price we've paid b4. naturally, i was mad. so i kinda made a face throughout d journey. i know it's bad, but i cant help it. i think we juz missed d train 4 juz a few minutes. myb it was my fault too. i underestimated d time needed to walk to d train station..

we arrived 5 hrs later in front of chellow grange, our apartment for 4 days of my mom's conference. d apartment itself was quite nice n it was a self-catered apartment so we can cook. later, my dad n i went to a supermarket to get us some things to cook. then both of them were sleeping until late at nite. jet lag kot. while i was watching d tv. tau2 je la org da bape lame x tgk tv kn..

day 2

my mom went to d conference. my dad n i were left with nothing to do. so we went to a outlet shopping village in fleetwood, hoping to find some good bargains. i found a shoe i liked, but decided to wait n not to buy it. sgt menyesal. i juz shud hv bought it coz i nvr found it afterwards.

singgah asda to buy some foods n went back by bus. guess wut? we got off d bus WAY too much earlier than we shud. so we ended up walking like, 2 km kot? like my dad said la. em. d promenade looked all d same so dont blame me 4 confusing over which bus stop we shud hv got off

back in d apartment n i hv to cook d rice for a LATE lunch. later, my mom was already back. she mentioned about d husband of her fren whom she met at d conference. he also got nothing to do n would like to know my dad. hm. menarik. nite went on like usual, on d couch, watching d tv~

day 3

pakcik mail (husband kwn my mom) agreed to drive us to blackburn, where there was sort of outlet shop for clarks shoes. my dad was d one who was so eager to find one. there were also children of pakcik mail, tina & muiz. they r so cute! oh rite. n they speak english with not even a slight trace that they r malaysians! huhu. menarik. tina was so friendly n talkative so i juz talked n play along with her.

malangnye d shop at blackburn was not so interesting. so he brought us to another shopping mall at colne (*not sure how to spell it). my dad n pakcik mail ended up going out of d shopping mall with 2 pairs of shoes. me? em. NONE kot? *sigh*

originally, pakcik mail planned to go back to manchester (where they live) today but later that evening he called to say that he cancelled his plan. so he invited us to tag along in their car to go to d promenade at d beach, juz for sightseeing. there was also another family, along with their kids too. but hey, d kids living overseas were juz too cute! x tahan btol~

singgah asda to buy things to cook. they r cooking n having dinner at our apartment! huhu. walaupun lauk x seberape, ikan+brahims, it was ok. kenyang la..but kesian bdk2 tu. tina was already asleep n muiz looked like he can fall down any second. penat kot..

day 4

last day at blackpool. around midday, pakcik mail & auntie azura brought me n my dad for d last sightseeing b4 they went back to manchester.

kwn umi from lancaster came to fetch us. after lunch, we headed off to lancaster. singgah at a shopping outlet in preston. my parents bought quite a lot of things. me? none. not again?? *depressed*

[lancaster]

arrived at pakcik romzie's house in lancaster. he got 2 kids, rusyaidi n one i forgot her name. the kids were quite shy. huhu. then later they also called their neighbour, which r also msians for a makan2. there were 2 other kids, ilias n sara. they r also so cute! haha. then i start wondering. does d weather or place affect ke'cute'an bdk2? huhu. ilias was a bit reluctant to let me know him at first but later, i win! huhu. we ended up playing games 2gether. layan je la~ it seems like i'll be friends with kids this holiday..




[morecambe-lake district]

day 5

went pusing2 around lancaster uni. d building was quite modern. at least lawa la drpd lester nye med school. huhu. we got our rental car today, so we followed pakcik romzie to morecambe, about an hour from lancaster. there was d sea, jetty, lighthouse n all that..

then we were on our own. we drove berbekalkan map which is bought yesterday n also google map. quite helpful, u know. altho it looked cikai. huhu. on d way to lake district, which is in windermere (strangely, there's also a road in lester named windermere!) pakcik mail called. n he invited us to drop by at manchester b4 going to leeds. huhu. baek gile kot pakcik ni. intending to maximise their trip in uk, my parents agreed.

we got on a 70 minute boat trip at d lake district (as d name suggest, there is lake all over). d weather was SO COLD n suddenly it started raining. my camera also ran out of battery. great. after getting some souvenir, we went straight to manchester~

can't believe im here! gile x ktorg berjalan? huhu. pakcik mail waited for us somewhere n then he drove d car to old trafford. guess where we're going? manchester stadium! *kpd org itu, jgn jeles ok? =P* btw, he had to go for work so we dont hv d time to go inside d stadium. amek gmba kat luar pon jd la..huhu

then he went for work. we went to their house at cheetam hill. i met tina n muiz again! yeay. huhu. it's great that they still rmmbr me. huhu. tina started showing her room. muiz trying to show me d games he was playing. haha. seriously. it was such a good feeling!


it was already late, so we excused ourselves to get going to leeds. leeds, here i come!

google map proved to be quite dependable coz we arrived with not much sesat2. hehe. we were goin to my mom's fren's house in beeston, auntie noreen. ok, more cute kids! haha. x tahan btol~

[york]


day 6



lucky for my mom bcoz we'll be goin to a carboot today! we headed to york n it was raining quite heavily. but unfortunately there was nothing much at d carboot. as expected, i ended up with nothing. n d weather was super cold. so unpredictable.


we arrived at national rail musem around noon. so we stopped for lunch. that was when i started berkawan2 with d kids. they were so friendly. huhu. menarik. da la cute plak tu. but all of us ate in d car bcoz d wind was very cold!

hafi, hasya, batrisyia, humaira, marissa

went into d museum. honestly, im not a fan of museums but this one was quite ok. d kids were so excited n im suddenly in their group. haha. i was most touched when batrisyia took my hands n pulled me over, kinda urging me to go with them. quite flattered, really. it was like i was accepted..n d older girl of them, yasmine, asked me to go see things with her. huhu. again, flattered.

then all of us walked to d city centre of york. imagine berduyun2 manusie berjalan kat town. quite amusing u know. tp cute la. huhu. york city was like any other european city. d scenery was pretty much d same..
supposedly, we've planned that we're goin back to lester today. but when auntie noreen heard that we'll go to stoke-on-trent d nxt day, she insisted that we stay 4 another nite. at first we're all reluctant, but she seemed so determined to let us stay, so we agreed..so she went back to prepare for dinner (hehe) while another family, pakcik zamil & auntie aziyati brought us to university of york, together with all d kids. sgt cantek ok? siap ade lake lg tu!




[leeds]


back at leeds. they brought us to university of leeds, which i've been before. took some pics, n went back to auntie noreen's house. had a super delicious dinner...talk..talk n sleep~


[stoke-on-trent]


day 7


we'll meet pakcik mail n family there. gile x ktorg? haha. besok kot flight derg blk, but now here we r at stoke-on-trent, shopping for pinggan mangkuk?? i dont even hv d slightest interest but kate org, ikot je la kn..met tina & muiz again. huhu. cant get enough of them, i guess.


si mak2 n ayah2 pon menelek2 pinggan mangkuk. d kids got bored. at least tina & muiz got somthing to eat. haha. so i juz joined them, looking at muiz's brand new nintendo ds. hebat x bdk2 zmn skang?


ok...byk gile kot derg beli! gile btol. haha..my mom smpt lg nk suro pegi lg b4 nk blk nnt. haha. as if! but at least i got myself a mug. haha. that's it.


[leicester]



pening pon sudah, shopping pon sudah. we're goin back to lester! yeay! bape hr da x tdo atas katil sndr ok? when we arrived at lester, we were kinda got lost. bcoz i dont hv d slightest clue about d roads in lester. ok, i know i live here. but everytime we juz walked. but luckily, we found our way to university of leicester. still got time to take some pics. hurry!


that nite, d girls hv a mkn2 for us. huhu. rajen derg ni. bcoz my dad will also be there, so they invited d boys too. huhu. it was quite a funny atmosphere. u see ur mom talking to ur frens n ur dad talking to d boys, with u in d middle. hm. menarik. terkeluar la some of my secrets (but not so secret anymore). biase la tu. mak2 bile borak2. huhu. but weird enough, that nite, i was so shaky n i cant even eat properly. i dont even know why. penat sgt kot?

later that nite, my parents r bz packing their things while i was in d kitchen, cooking laksa under my mom's instruction. hoho. tade la susah sgt rupenye! that nite was so tiring n i slept at 2++. still got lots to do 2moro~



day 8


went to student union's shop n town for a last-minute shopping. huhu. then bergegas blk n did d final kemas2. bcoz i dont want history 2 repeat, we went out to bus station 45mis earlier than d time d bus shud arrive. lgpon brg cm byk gile kot?


oh ye. i'll juz be sending them off to d bus station n not heathrow.


sit down n wait.


d bus came. they got on.


bus drove away. i waved goodbye to them.


n then joined mai n alya at town.


alya slept at my room that nite.
